Our salary advance loans don’t affect borrowers credit score and applies to all credit types.

 GettaSub effectively end the need for employee stress suffered from short term, unplanned financial obligations. All our loans are controlled via our app and web portal, which allows employees to instantly access their money. 

Launched in 2018, and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, GettaSub is already fast becoming the market leader in the short-term lending space.

ROLE PURPOSE

We’re looking for a high impact Chief Operating Officer that thrives on a challenge and has a passion for building something iconic. You will oversee our organisation’s ongoing operations and drive extensive and sustainable growth.

We are a truly innovative fintech platform who are on an exciting growth journey having recently secured substantial funding from institutional investors.

As a critical member of their senior leadership team and working directly with the Founders, you will be an instrumental part of taking the business to the next stage in their journey. We are looking for an experienced and efficient leader, with excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics

This is an extremely high impact role, with the opportunity to shape this company’s direction at a pivotal point in its growth and so an incredibly exciting time to join.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Contribute to our strategic business plan by setting short-term and long-term goals, driving overall strategy and delivering against KPIs for Operations as well as informing and supporting cross-business priorities 
  • Work in complementary co-leadership with the CEO/Founder, supporting the development of the business vision and strategy 
  • Company strategy. Craft a winning company strategy that connects the vision to the realities of the business. This includes the ability to articulate the what, why and when across the business. In particular, establish 12-18 month plans, budgets and KPI’s
  • Continually improve and develop operations processes to ensure super efficiency and scalability to maximise profitability 
  • Own the operating budget and manage delivery against key financial milestones 
  • Lead quarterly business reviews to include presenting business updates & results 
  • Deliver the organisational structure, tools, data, measures and processes to support rapid execution and growth
  • Lead and develop Operations teams – supporting, coaching and motivating to ensure effective day to day execution 
  • Create a simple and compelling shared team vision for operational success, empowering the team to understand and execute their respective roles
  • Work collaboratively and build trusted relationships with all team members and ensure you are a champion for the business and its values and protocols to prevent repeat problems and make our team more efficient
  • New strategic initiatives. Oversee strategic projects [i.e. market expansion, new portfolio services, M&A, etc.]. This includes
    • Planning. [i.e. strategy, budget/forecast, organisational design and comms plan]
    • Executing. [i.e. tactics and project management]
    • Systemizing. [i.e. embed processes, people and tools] 

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • You have experience of delivering, leading and scaling international operations in a high-growth environment, ideally in online & consumer sectors 
  • In-depth experience in operations and finance, with knowledge in financial & strategic planning, business development and budgeting
  • You have experience in managing high performing teams in challenging and fast-moving environments, and ideally exposure within a larger organisation where you have learnt best practice 
  • You are a strong inspirational leader, 100% customer and results focused and you’re happiest when you’re ‘getting stuff done’ 
  • You are a strategic problem solver – always looking for improvements in operational efficiency 
  • You are analytical and data-driven; you love to back up your decisions with hard facts, stats and numbers 
  • You have a positive outlook, boundless energy and thrive on collaboration in agile environments
  • Experience in hiring and building teams
  • You can translate complex business strategy and operations into a simple, compelling vision to focus a team on a unified goal 
  • A strong leader with high levels of energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency for completing and following through on tasks; resolves challenges in a timely manner
  • Ability to hold others accountable for delivery and follow through on commitments.
  • Keen eye for excellence and is cost conscious; understands the fundamentals of running a business
  • A passionate leader who creates an environment where people are motivated to go the extra mile and put in discretionary effort to get things done well

NICE TO HAVE

  • Financial services experience desirable
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience leading operations in a fast growth company
  • Systems literacy knowledge in PowerPoint, MS office, Excel and Word
